The Scouts have found themselves dishonourably discharged from every Scout Patrol they have tried to be part of, and have now decided that their only way back in is to secure a large number of badges.The Guides are in a similar situation as they too are outsiders in their groups. Their parents have suggested that they team up in a desperate attempt to qualify for a whole heap of badges in a weekend.They have no other option if they want to be accepted by the other guides & scouts. The first challenge is to put up a shelter.In this case a Scout patrol tent which has been left at the camping site by the parents. The guides arrive first and look at their checklist, then at the heap of sticks, rope & canvas on the floor. Troop 123 is distinguished mainly by a complete unpreparedness and its total lack of badges.In a last desperate attempt to gain some and attract new members they decide to go on an expedition! What could possibly go wrong? |
